- How do I delete an Apple Watch recording? On the Watch, open the recording, touch and hold the playback screen and tap Delete. On the iPhone, swipe left on a recording in the Watch Recordings folder. Deleted recordings cannot be recovered.
- Does Noted support URL schemes? Yes. The noted:// scheme can open the app, create a note or notebook, or start recording, so Shortcuts and other apps can drive Noted. Parameters such as title and notebook-title are passed in the URL.
- How does Noted work? Noted records audio while you type, and time-stamps every word to the recording. Tap any word later to hear exactly what was said at that moment. Notes sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Vision Pro through iCloud.
- How do I lock and unlock a note with a password? No. Your data is encrypted and stored securely on your Apple device and Apple’s iCloud server (if sync is enabled). We cannot access your notes.

- How do I set up themes, fonts and date formats? Themes, fonts and date formats are under Settings on iOS and macOS. Pick a space theme, change the editor font and size, and choose how dates appear in your notes; each choice syncs across your devices.
- How do I share a note or recording? Tap ⋯ → Export (iOS) or the Export button (macOS) and choose PDF, plain text or a web link. A PDF keeps your formatting; the link lets someone read the note in a browser without the app.
