How do I undo and redo changes in a note?
Published on Last updated
Short answer
Tap the curved Undo and Redo arrows on the editor toolbar (iOS), or use Edit → Undo and Redo or ⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z on the Mac. Undo covers text, formatting and sketches within the current session.
Typos are inevitable when taking notes. Luckily, with Noted, you can easily reverse a mistake you’ve made and restore any action that’s previously undone.
iOS
On the Editor Toolbar, you will find the Undo and Redo icons which look like arrows going back on themselves.
macOS
Undo and Redo can be found in the top menu bar under Edit. Alternatively, you can use shortcuts ⌘Z to undo and ⇧⌘Z to redo.
Please note that once you exit a note, none of your previous actions in the note can be undone or redone.
