How do I skip forward or back in a recording?

Short answer

Tap the skip buttons either side of Play to jump back or forward, 10 seconds by default. Change the interval under Settings → General → Skip forward / Skip back, on iOS and macOS.

When you playback a recording, you can rewind or skip forward using the Skip Time buttons, which are located on each end of the Play button.

The default duration for the Skip Time buttons are 10 seconds, but you can control how far ahead you want to skip forward playback and how far back you want to rewind by following the steps below:
