- Can I record calls? No. Noted cannot record phone or FaceTime calls, because iOS does not give apps access to call audio. Third-party call-routing apps or a second device recording the speaker are the only workarounds.
- Can I use third-party cloud service providers? No. Noted syncs through iCloud only. Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive can be used to import files into a note, but not to sync your notes between devices.
- Do Bluetooth headsets or AirPods work with Noted? Yes. Noted plays and records through AirPods and other Bluetooth headsets. To record from the headset microphone, tap the 🎙 icon while recording and choose it as the audio input.
- Does Noted Convert Speech to Text in Real Time? Yes, in two ways: Dictation types your own voice as you speak, and Live Transcribe turns a recording into text as it happens. Both keep the text time-stamped to the audio.
- Does Noted support URL schemes? Yes. The noted:// scheme can open the app, create a note or notebook, or start recording, so Shortcuts and other apps can drive Noted. Parameters such as title and notebook-title are passed in the URL.
- How do I manage or delete my Noted account on Android? Email xiaomi@notedapp.io from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted; it is actioned within 24 hours. Deletion is permanent, but recordings stored on your device stay there.
- What is Noted Assistant and how do I summarise a meeting? Noted Assistant reads a note and its transcript and writes a summary you can edit or share. Open the note, tap Assistant and choose Summarise; it needs Noted+ and a transcript of the recording.
